For example, round brushes taper to a pointed tip and are great for filling in oddly shaped areas and painting details. Flat brushes have a flat end with short to medium long hairs and are good for making thin to thick lines, filling in large spaces, or varnishing. Liner brushes have a pointed tip and work well for drawing straight or wavy lines.
